and I saw this Yamaha (YSP-800 / 1000) at the show. Can anyone comment on this? and please recommend other better model if any. Thanks!

1. You'll still need a subwoofer.
2. You'll need 2 walls - left and right for reflecting the sound.
3. The 1000 sounds just ok. No idea what 2500 the earlier poster is referring to. The only Yamaha 2500 I know of is av amp.作者: winwin 時間: 2006-4-25 22:47
yes, I tried YSP1000 B4 too, it feels ok. Yamaha also has a subwoofer for this series. See this link: http://www.yamaha.ca/av/YSP/YSP1000.jsp.
