HiFi Fever 從2008年開始會以召集型式開設工作坊, 砌機課程等等得到各音響發燒友大力支持 (差不多全部滿座), 我們在下半年會再度改良課程內容, 希望更切合大家的要求..

召集課程最先達到最少報名人數要求的便先行開班! 大家留名時亦可說出自己的特別要求, 我們會儘量配合!

1. CDPRO2 loader
2. 入門版 / 終極版
3. 終極版可選True16/24 bits out, 44.1Khz, 48kHz, 96kHz, 176.4kHz, 192kHz & I2S output
4. 用家可用這高階輸出接至閣下已有的192khZ的 DAC 如 AV Amp, Wadia etc. 很多用家封印了具192khZ 的解碼能力多時
5. 亦可一試44.1/16 Re-clock 輸出
6. 非一般CD Transport可及

All,

I am receive 6 board right now, 2 board are fail.

1. Wrong connection of the Schottky diode.
2. Not soldering the resistor of LT1085. Also, soldering wrong location of LM317 and LT1085.

I would like to collect all people board first and let all people complete at SAME day.

So, I need the feedback from other 4 people.

I just bank in deposit for the DAC course and would like to reserve DAC1955 package. If not enough chassis space, seperate chassis is still Ok. But the clock channel between two chassis needs discussion.

I may use PCM1702PK at the beginning. I got NPC5802 as well. I wish the CDPRO2 clock being fed from DAC side. But I don't have CDPRO2 data at this moment that is a constraint to me on system development.

I also worry the space in chassis. Or I need a more bigger chassis?

Because I want to know your DAC type and check the space can enough to place or not.

Most modern DAC like BB, ADI, Crystal use same I2S bus so I don't think swapping DAC's is an issue. I have PCM63PK, PCM1702PK, PCM1792 right now. The very first is to craft the system architect, incorporating all the basic elements (transport, digital filter, clock system, DAC, LPF). This is really an extreme experimental project.

I wish to build a flexible system that the elements can be interchangable, like swapping DAC, digital filter, output stage. The goal is to build a CD player that is absolutely neutral and rich in information. And beat down my current CD player (Meridian G08).

I don't like tube output at the CD front-end. I prefer solid state that pertains all the information from source rather than round-off.

If I got all the datasheet of the IC's including CDPRO2 loader, this would help a lot in formulating feasibility of the whole system.

May I know what kind of DAC you are looking for integrated with Pro2 ?

I have attended the open-day on 2 AUG and I had a thoughrough discussion with KK sir about my special interest in CDPRO2 project.

Since I have strong intention in making an integrated CD player using CDPRO2 (including digital in/out capability) rather than a pure transport. Personally I dislike SPDIF. I prefer the system clock being derived from DAC side, that should being known as least jitter.

I would use close distance I2S for data transmission between CDPRO2 and DAC, I2S also benefit to future expansion like DSP upsampling.

I express my vision in this project here and hope that KK sir can kindly support me on implementing my ambitous CD player.

After investigating the big chassis on open-day, I suspect whether this sexy metronorm a-like chassis have enough 實用面積 for my need. But anyway I still like to reserve this big chassis for this project.

１）　請問完成品可否直接接駁到AVM使用而不用外加DAC?
２）　如果１的答案是不能，　那會否在短期內有cdplayer and dac合班?
3)  如果２的答案是否的話，　自知是新手一名，
　　但自問對手作很有信心，請問可否加入?　
4) 如果３的答案是ｏｋ的話，　可否用Credit Card 付款？
