Comparison of using OPA2604, 5532, OPA2107 in AD1955Pro DAC

I’ve read a post from a famous AD1955Pro DIY website:

In order to prove the result is true or not, I used $150 to buy a pair of TRUE OPA2107 to compare with default 5532 and another pair of OPA2604. After power on the DAC and played 2 songs, my wife said "So far this is the best sound every heard from your Hifi system". My personal comment is the same as the guy posted, very happy!! :

I remember the days I have my MHZS CD 33 ... The second thing I changed in the CD Player is the OPA2604. I swapped the 2604 to 2107 .... wow ... big difference. However, because of the poor components of the CD 33, the High Frequencies became distorted. No until I modified the Power Supply section then the CD player becomes better.

Finally I switched to OPA 627AM? (Metal case) as I gave my 2107 to my sister.

Please check your Dual opamp usuage.

It is use in DC-SERVO.

It should be choose input low offset is the first major.

Are you sure your (old OPA2604) is really REAL one.

I believe my one should be.

Also, LEAD type is better than Lead-Free type of OPA2604.

All of the components can be re-print are also not trust. Even you are using $150, $1500, $15000 to buy this.

My selection op-amp for DC-SERVO is :
Texas Instrument OPA827.

Input offset voltage : 50uV  (OPA2107 is 0.1mV)
Slew Rate : 28V / us  (OPA2107 is 18V /us)
Noise : 3.8nV (OPA2107 is 8nV)

Don't trust too much on other web saying, use real time experiment, like HiFifever, always have data, demo and photo. Otherwise, you will waste alot of money and time.

the OPA827 i get from TI USA so cannot be clone ha..ha, u can try acess to their website and ask for sample.... it is soic, single channel...

Anyway when i use this at my 8000A (DC servor), i feel it is a bit digital even though detail & resolution is very good.

I am sure no one can apply sample if using HK address, also, if using company to apply, TI also will looking for deeply about this.

This new device is not easy to get free samples.
