Speaker Standard 入沙一問

各位大佬 Happ New Year! 小弟剛加入HiFi World不久用緊 B&W 602書架Speaker 連 Stand. 近排先知 Speaker Stand要入沙先可以癸揮Speaker本身音質, 同D師兄 & HiFi Shop 八過以下幾种方法, 請問出來的音質會有乜口吾同???

Option-1: 鋼沙/ 小鋼珠 不過唔知边道有得賣, 好似話要過HK$1000 (太貴了! 仲貴過隻stand)

Option-2: 沙灘D沙不過要鐵穫炒過先用得 (太大工程了!)

Option-3: 養魚用的粗沙不過唔知使唔使炒過先用得??

ewcl兄, 聽HiFi Shop 話D沙要用鐵穫炒過先用得其中一個原因就係要炒旱D沙免得生銹及結成一舊變死聲 wo...

Finally I have find metal sand in shop but really expensive for me. They ask for HK$ 60/Kg, for my speaker stand, the shop guess ~15-18Kg required (over $1,000).

Then I call B&W, they suggest me to buy 石英沙, claimed they also use this to install speaker stand for their customer. I find this $10/ lb, I buy 30 lb (total $300) as B&W recommended. After serval testing, from 75% full --> 70% --> 65% --> 60% ...etc. I feel the sound of 60% full is good for me.

Finally just ~18 lb 石英沙 was used for 2 speaker stand, the sound is OK for me but I still feel the stand 仲好輕, 唔係好穩陣. 而釘腳又未知買邊种啱 ...

can u share what kind of speaker & stand u are using??

Speakers : Spendor S3

Stand : China made stand with 4 hollow cylinder connecting two flat heavy metal plates (one top one bottom of coz) wth pins fitted to the side against the floor. ($1000 from 'Go' 'On' about 2 years ago

其實用河沙都可以，在一般五金舖有得賣。

平靚正！

river sand is cheap and effective, just to make sure it is dry loh. another precaution to prevention of rusting is spray some oil/wd 40 in the metal stand inner surface the on fill in the sand....
