Marantz SR3500 is the lowest grade in the whole series, in fact, i think it's obsoleted also, that's why u are not satisfy with it.
If u considering upgrading the amp, u better think about which side u want more, music or movie.

if u want more from the movie, and better explosion effect, 100% should go to Denon
2106 is oki
But don't expect much from them for music

Then Onkyo 703  
DON'T go for 603 to save a few bucks, it don't have pre-out function

Velodyne CHT-8R, less than $3500 now. Will surely give u enough bass  :twisted:

Try to use the same brand as ur front speakers, if u can't find one suitable, then u may try Klipsch RC15/25, it's really quite good for movie

可以試下用d發燒碟如陳潔麗的"花言巧語"來試
唔係好肯定703邊到平, 不過你可以去德發睇下, 就算唔係最平都起碼有service先
至於coaxial就可以買d平平地o既廠線來用, 如audioquest最平的都係$150, 都唔差
