Hi to all CD33 owner,

I want to share something to you, i have change my power coupling cap to Mundorf ZN cap, n also the tube coupling cap to Mundorf Silver/oil. Pure silver cable 0.33mm from PCB to RCA. Ofcause the most important is change the tube, my is ERICSSON 396A.
I had try on WE396A also, but still prefer ERICSSON, because the VOCAL sound more TRUTH, not to said WE bad, it just that WE is too musical(is all depend on individual taste)

Now the Sound totally change, more clear, detail n fast,
Will change the OPAMP to 627 if the stock arrived, hope can give me another surprise! :wink:

I brough some WESTERN ELECTIRC 396A from ebay also......bcoz cheap.

if you got buget , go for WE396A, 1950s NOS, still need something BETTER than WE, look for BENDIX 6385(price around USD170-200) :  :

GE5670 n RCA5670 is better than 6N3 n also cheap, but the SYLVINIA i dont think have......... :wink:

The ERO cap is Germany company the quality same to EOR cap and wimma. It is better than wimma for high notes. (clear and smooth) I make this in power filter of MHZS  CD33 only. Sound outup changed Jensen alum Paper oil 0.22uf/630 these cheaper than copper much. then the mid bass is better. (I feel)

i want to change my CAP too, what is ERO MKP 1852 cap? from what manufacture?

i heard of alot of review said change to silver/ oil or silver cap have more brighter sound but will softer the bass n midbass, so what should i change?
any CAP that can have all even sound?

i know that the WE396A tube cost a boom, but alot of HI-FI-er like this tube so much bcoz of the sound. i also try so many way to get this tube, but unfortunate cant get it until now :cry: , hope that i can get a pair n try....

i have found 1 more tube, the shop said is better than WE396A is ERICSSON 396A, made in sweden, price is lower than WE396A..... you heard about this tube? i dont know should try this or not..... :?

GE5670 just $110 both. Thia is very good lor!!!!!!!!!
