Dear KK Sir,

I doubt if you can help me assemble the linear power supply for my HTPC as the one at the link below:-

http://www.cicsmemoryplayer.com/ ... me=B_Linear_PSU.pdf

If possible, please also let me know the cost (including your remuneration of course, ha ha).

Regards,

Peter

If your power supply is < 40W, you can do this. Otherwise, hard to solving the efficiency issue.

You can see one platform "AMD Fusion" in mid DEC, it is very small barebone.

Audio performance is very good. Video is AMD 6 series graphic card with CPU together.

Very low power consumption.

Sorry, cannot disclose too much.

I think the power consumption is minimal as I have disable nearly all functions and the CPU is underclocked.  I really want to have the linear power supply.

The config. of my HTPC:-

CPU: E7200 (underclocked from 2.5G to 1.4G)
Motherboard: Asrock P45TS
RAM: 1G DDR3 Kingston CL7 1066Hz
Soundcard: SE-200
Harddisk: 500G x2 (raid)
CD rom: Phillips

As regards AMD, it does not support SSE4 Cplay but only SSE2 Cplay.  However, using Intel CPU with SSE4 Cplay is much much better, more focus and the sound stage is wide.

I learn that Linux Ubuntu Studio is also good and I am going to try it.

Grateful if you can help me make the linear power supply.
