I have experience to listen REAL and Clone 2.5 at same config same environment.
Let share some idea for you.
Real 2.5 Tweeter not equal to Fake one.
Woofer is same.
You may need:
1. Download and study the cross over network of REAL 2.5
2. Plotting your frequency response (without crossover network of Tweeter and Woofer), using the RMAA software.
3. Modify the crossover.
4. For the wooden cabinet, you need to put some coat inside.

How can I tell the tweeter and woofer are real or not. They have the SCAN-SPEAK labels. The model number of the tweeter is D2010/851300; and woofer is 18W/8535-00.
I believe the crossover network is "Troels Gravesen 设计的第6 版本".
C hing, the best I can do for now is to change the caps to SOLEN caps; and add the sound-absorbing sponge inside.
The rest I don't know how to handle. Please advise.
I have done the sound-absorbing sponge, using the 1吋雞旦綿。
replaced with the solen caps, and change the lead wires.
I still found that the bass (I think around 50 to 150 hz) is still too heavy. What would you recommend to change the CO network to reduce the bass. The CO network is version 6.0.
Thank you so much for your kind support. I don't have a car. I think I can do trial and error to "minimize" the problem for now. I think one of the reasons is that the tube for the reflex is too long. I sounds like it is some kind of resonance in the reflex tube. I had put a 雞旦綿 tube into the reflex tube. I also changed the quad EL34 from EH to Gold Lion. Now the bass has decreased to a reasonable level (although a little bit heavier, but the listening is more comfortable than before).
I will run it for a while for now. The next step is to modify the CO to 6.2 version which is, theoretically, to pull down the bump (at 750 Hz). See how it goes.
