Guarneri homage
Revolutionary debut of a whole generation of sonus faber loudspeakers, Guareni homage is the first loudspeaker produced by drawing inspiration from the shape of the lute. Defined as “a musical instrument” by the press and expert critics, considered by its lovers "a cult object", it is considered one of the few projects that influenced the history of high fidelity, so much so that Salvatore Accardo and Uto Ughi are mentioned among its enthusiasts, both of them owning one Guarneri homage. The famous design taking up the shape of a lute combines exceptional performance together with an aesthetic profile of extraordinary beauty. Today, it is still totally hand made in small numbers for those who seek speakers with such an evocative power that makes you forget the system by simply "offering" music.

The first pair of Guarneri homage was chosen to spread melodies of famous violins in the "Sale dei Violini" (Hall of Violins) of "alazzo Comunale" (municipality Palace) in Cremona.



Amati Anniversario
With Amati anniversario , Sonus faber celebrates the birth of Andrea Amati five hundred years ago , the great Maestro of stringed instrument making from Cremona ( 1505 - 1577 ) . The new homage is a sound diffuser perpetuating the experience gained from the most significant Sonus faber project thus far ; Stradivari homage . The Amati's anniversario 's lute-shaped cabinet efficaciously " harmonises " resonances while dedicating considerable attention to the most innovative aspect of the projects work in the Sonus faber tradition . Amati anniversario has been created to breathe life into the melodies weft of the fabric of music , in all its nuances ; making the listening experience an extraordinarily moving event.



Stradivari homage
The tribute to Stradivari further defines that ambition to bring the identity of the loudspeaker ever more closer to that of a musical instrument.
At its outset, the project was based on the idea that a front that was wider than traditional canons could lead to the simulation of the 2 infinite plane, translating the model of a theoretically perfect acoustic source and offering an absolutely innovative reproduction performance.
And thus, the large front panel: it does not disperse but accumulates the energy of the loudspeakers, and then reflects it. An elliptic design for a three - way system capable of offering a totally different, emotionally enthusiastic response.
