DIY Speaker Cable

各位高手,

小弟新手又不知天高地厚, 胆粗粗買咗條散線想DIY.
請問有無D不用焊的蕉插??
條線除4條心(2x + 及 2x -)外中間仲有條最幼的心請問点用??

I also don't know this, my AQ cable also have 5th "最幼的心", I just skip this last time.

Any brother know how to use it??

I found some 蕉插 in Apliu street that do not need to solder.

do u know how to use the "Field" when DIY cable??

Though cannot see clearly, but the words sugguested that it is for active shield usage.

Actually, I don't understand your question.  

Dielectric-Bias System (DBS) is a very complicated issue, more or less will affect the sonic performance, so if you don't know, just forget about it.

如圖所見，你可把兩條紅線接正(+)，黑白兩條線接負(-)，而那條地線則一同接往連接喇叭的一端，近擴音機的一端則浮起不接。這是一般喇叭線diy的接法，希望幫到你。

Appreciate if you can clarify what you meant by "而那條地線則一同接往連接喇叭的一端". The 地線 should be connected to which part of the 喇叭? Shouldn't it be connected to the Earth of the power socket?

Don't be confused with the grounding of cables.  DBS is not the sam e as grounding as it is another concept of shielding against interference.

Floating of cables at the amp side will force the interfeerence to go to the speaker side.  More noise!!

Finally, I have DIY this cable and skip the DBS part, becasue I don't know how to make this part.

This is Audio Quest CV-4 buy from SHam SHui Po, the quality is OK for me. I just new hand, so cannot give many comment when compare this with other brand cable.

ANy expert using CV-4 before??
Can you share some experience when compare with other brand/ model cable??

小弟更正，地線應更正作屏閉線。而屏閉線之接法則視乎各廠家之設計，本人提及
的接法是一般diyer的做法，亦有人把屏閉線兩端各接到擴音機及喇叭去(通常是接+位)，或者兩端都浮起不接，各師各法，至滿意為止。
