Upgrade AMP?? Speaker?? for 聰歌

各位師兄,

小弟入門不足一年, 以前諗住聰歌/ 睇戲 50% : 50%. 所以買咗部入門石机(Onkyo 603 AMP) 及 B&W 602書架speaker. 但工作關係慢慢己變成 90% 聰歌 : 10% 睇戲, 想改善聰歌聲厎. 希望人聲靚, 立体感強, 申延好D.

其實應該換那種speaker較好?? 小弟多數聰POP Music, 張學友, 李克勤, 陳潔麗, 蔡琴, 鄧麗君.
Chario?? DynaAudio?? JBL?? PMC?? Klipsch??

定係應該換AMP先呢??

今日見到 Chario Hiper 1000/ 2000 書架大清貨, ~3K/ 4K
有無brother玩過?? 隻Hiper 2000 易推嗎?? 如果遲D轉胆機又啱夾嗎??

Monitor design....Good sound...but
Dynaudio----you must spend double to trible budget to find a powerful amp
PMC------, also like this, below $10k, forget it.

JBL -----thousand money  may match for AV purpose, bass is enough.
Klipsch---- noway, super not solid enough.
Chario-----thousand budget, warm and for music also OK.

I have visit diff. shop to test both Dynaudio/ Chario this few days, total agreed with your comment.

Dynaudio 42/ 52 is good but really need a powerful AMP to push, it can reflect the song's original sound. But I think my cheap cheap AMP cannot handle this. Similar case for PMC as well.

For few thousand budget with warm/ muscial sound, after many shop visit this 2 weeks, now I am focus on Chario OR Aurum金瑯.

I think I will buy either one this week end, tell u after buy.

For me, I must go for Chario , not  Aurum金瑯.
Aurum金瑯 can get your first attention but you will feel not comfort for a long time, you can't balance the sound easily because of too sharp.

Chario is more natural and have sound  tuning buffer,
Also speaker with natural sound, must go for monitor , good monitor sound give you a very accurate sound , then you can find your character like power amp.

Last week I goto shop to test/ listen Chario and Aurum again.

Honestly not much shop selling Chario, my friend tell me Diamond Hill's shopping mall (香港電X) have most of Chario model. Then I goto Diamond Hill to test it, but the environment is very very noisily and busy. Actually speaker quality cannot be tested. Also the HiFi coner is very busy, during my visit (~30min) the sales (only 1 sale person) have sell 5 order such as Onkyo AVM/ 馬仔7001/ Onkyo mini HiFi ...etc. No one will serve you for detail testing, so I cannot get the confident to buy.

Then I goto Sham Sui Po (HiFi X) to test Aurum, the environment is much better then Diamond Hill and also with very good service. I have listen 4 CD (2 CD fr. shop, 2 CD by me) and talk with the sale person over a hour. I find the more musical then my old speaker.

So, I have buy Aurum finally, which still running-in and hope can get better quality then.

DDL, I also got similar comment from my colleague say Chario may a little bit better then Aurum. May be I am bad luck, cannot find a good envirment shop for testing. Really not much shop selling this now.

Goldlightan, congratulations to have your new speaker. I have used Aurum Leisure 2 before, not bad and it has high resell value so you can upgrade to others easily
